Baku Expo Center is a multipurpose events venue designed and constructed in accordance with the highest international standards. It is a common ground for industry exhibitions, congresses, meetings, corporate events for business and entertainment.
Being one of the most beautiful exhibition centres in the region, the venue creates a nice atmosphere for participants of events held there. The complex is located in close proximity to the airport and in 15 minutes driving distance from the city centre. There is a developed public transport infrastructure with several bus stops located around the centre.
The complex is beautifully landscaped on a territory with a total area of 10 hectares.
There are three pavilions well equipped to hold exhibitions and meet any requirements.
In addition facility offers conference halls, meeting rooms, a business centre, food courts, and other support services. Besides several conference and meetings rooms of various sizes, there is space which could be easily transformed into congress facilities for holding WPC congress sessions. All conditions for pleasant rest of the guests have been created in the lobby with a café and a lounge. The venue as well as the entire perimeter is accessible for participants in wheelchairs and those with other types of disability.
An iconic building designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the Center is famous for its fluid shape which the architects intended as a reaction to the rigid architectures of the past as well as a reference to Islamic calligraphy and to elements of the traditional Azerbaijani architecture.
Construction of the new Baku Convention Center by the side of the architectural masterpiece of Heydar Aliyev Center marked a new phase in the development of Baku city which now can offer very functional, state-of-the-art, attractive, and unique meeting venue for holding large-scale international events.
